Show Up for Raymond.

Everything the PTA does comes down to two things: raising money for student opportunities and showing up. The fundraising is important. The showing up matters more.

When a student walks into the Book Fair and a volunteer helps them find their first chapter book, that's showing up. When a parent staffs the coffee table on the first morning of school and another family stops feeling like a stranger, that's showing up. When the Fall Carnival happens because a hundred people said yes to one shift, that's showing up.

We know you're busy. Every family here is busy. And every family here loves their kids, which is exactly why this list exists. These are the moments that need a person in them. That person could be you.

​

Meet Your Teacher Ice Cream Social

<p>This is typically the highest-attendance parent event of the entire year. It's our single best chance to introduce the PTA to the whole school community at once and invite people to get involved.</p>

<p>The Book Fair isn't a PTA fundraiser, it's a fundraiser for our teachers. Every dollar in sales goes toward a Scholastic shopping spree for Raymond staff, so every shift you work helps a student pick out a book and helps a teacher stock their classroom.</p>

A week-long pop-up bookstore on campus where students can browse and purchase books with their families, supporting a love of reading.

<p class="font_8">It gives children a safe space to share their voice, build self-confidence, and discover the joy of creating art. It is not about finding the next Picasso. It is about celebrating how a student interprets a theme through their own unique lens.</p>

A nationally recognized arts competition that encourages students to explore their creativity and express themselves through original works of art inspired by this year’s theme: “What My Culture Means to Me”


Students may enter one original piece in Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, Literature, Film Production, Music Composition, Photography, or Accessible Arts.


To participate students must fill out this entry form and turn in their physical piece of art to the Raymond Office by Friday, September 25, 2026.


There will be an Awards Show on October 8, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the MPR.

Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign encouraging students and families to make healthy, drug-free choices. At Raymond, the PTA partners with the school to help teach children about staying safe and making positive decisions.

<p>Carnival is where our school comes together as a true community. It's a program built for our students first, and the energy and joy it creates carries through the rest of the year. The funds raised help make meaningful student experiences possible, including field trips and transportation to 6th grade camp, so every family's participation creates an impact that lasts well beyond Carnival day.</p>

<p>Now in its 40th year, this program brings holiday food and gifts to hundreds of Fullerton families and thousands of children, made possible through a partnership between the Fullerton Council of PTAs, the school district, and community organizations across the city. It's one of the most direct ways our school shows up for other families right here in our own district.</p>

Raymond's part in the Fullerton Council of PTAs' Holiday Community Program, an annual Toy & Food Drive run in partnership with Pathways of Hope.
